Report an issue eBook ☆ Report an ePUB ñ report pdf, issue kindle, Report an kindle, Report an issue PDF/EPUBI’d forgotten the assassination of Swedish PM Olaf Palme all those years ago and had no idea that the case was still unresolved He was a controversial leader in that he held strong views Generally admired by the Left he was outspoken about US foreign policy openly supportive of the ANC and PLO critical of Pinochet Despite success with domestic policy which improved health and social welfare he also made enemies He was walking home from the cinema with his wife when he was shot at close range and killed It seemed clear that it was a targeted attackI was unaware that Stieg Larsson had spent so much time investigating this case and this book is largely the product of that research Jan Stocklassa has brought together all the years of work and information that Larsson had gathered and then put his own spin on the case It’s very much a book of two

Report an issue eBook ☆ Report an ePUB ñ report pdf, issue kindle, Report an kindle, Report an issue PDF/EPUBIt was the Steig Larsson name that piqued my interest and I remembered the shockwaves from the Palme assassination Jan Stocklassa has written a factual book with a fictional style and although I had to re read sections to make sure I understood the context and the characters I thoroughly enjoyed the book I say this as a dedicated crime fiction reader The international scope of the murder and the implication of the US having descriptions of the different types of assassinations as far back as the 1950’s really resounded in me who would assume that you could uncover the perpetrator in such a web? I’d recommend this book to anyone who likes to see a puzzle solved and just how much effort it takes

Report an issue eBook ☆ Report an ePUB ñ report pdf, issue kindle, Report an kindle, Report an issue PDF/EPUBMany would think the way this book is set out is disjointed and tedious The nature of the materials and the whole thrust of this book is like an investigation rather than a story It may not appeal to all readers but as a historian it really worked for me Sifting through source material and running up blind alleys made the book very different I have given it 4 stars rather than 5 because it lacked a few elements location and character photos chronologiestimelines and mapping would have involved the reader as a participant Otherwise it works and le

Report an issue eBook ☆ Report an ePUB ñ report pdf, issue kindle, Report an kindle, Report an issue PDF/EPUBThere are times when this non fiction investigation as to who was responsible for the assassination in 1986 of Olof Palme the Swedish prime minister becomes to read like a work of crime fiction worthy indeed of something from the pen of Stieg Larsson himself This is the story of how journalist Jan Stocklassa came across the mass of documentation that Larsson had accumulated during his own investigation conducted over many years until his untimely death into the unsolved murderThis is not an academic scholarly
